Yesterday was Independence Day and a public holiday. Singapore celebrated 46 Years of Independence with the annual National Day Parade. Could not get any tickets to go and watch the live parade but heard all the fireworks from our apartment. Apparently, tickets are like "Hens Teeth" but will make an effort to try and see it live next year. Had a lazy day, drove to Junction8 shopping mall near our new home and checked out the roads and area. Looks good.
Watched the premier of a new local show, Million Dollar Drop and really enjoyed it. Zelma got ready for the trip to China and I dropped her off this morning at 07h00 at Changi International Airport.
