No time for doing any of the exciting stuff but did finalise the most important issue on Saturday. The house. After all my searching last week I took Zelma (wife) on Saturday to look at my final choice. Luckily she was very happy and so that one is now put to bed. One "Bungalow", one story House with nice garden for us and the dogs.
Landlord accepted our offer and we will officially move in on 01 September 2011. Really looking forward to have our "own" place again where we can settle down and return to a normal life.

The dogs arrived on Friday and we were able to visit them Saturday afternoon at the Quarantine Centre in the north, some 22 kilometers from the city center. Nice facility and they were very happy to see us and vice versa. Another 4 weeks for them in quarantine before they can rejoin us. They have a nice shared kennel, air conditioned and get walkies twice a day.
Also did my first real driving in Singapore and no problem. Official speed limit on the "highway" is 80 Kph. Most people drive faster than the limit as you do get warned where there are speed traps. Nice one. I know what you are saying. Only 80Kph, but that is fats enough else you would drive off the island. Just kidding.
Sunday was reserved for catching up with the washing, watch some movies and just chill. Zelma off to China this Wednesday for 4 days so we spent some time together. Watched "The Life of David Gale" again and still counts as one of my top ten movies. If you have not seen it yet, watch it!!!!!. Off course my opinion might be skewed as I love Kevin Spacey and Kate Winslet is my number one female actress.
